16. Fejezet
א וַיִּסְעוּ, מֵאֵילִם, וַיָּבֹאוּ כָּל-עֲדַת בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל-מִדְבַּר-סִין, אֲשֶׁר בֵּין-אֵילִם וּבֵין סִינָי--בַּחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי, לְצֵאתָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם. 1 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.
1 És elindulának Élimből és érkezék Izráel fiainak egész gyülekezete a Szin pusztájába, mely Élim között és Sinai között van, a második hónapnak tizenötödik napján, Égyiptom földéről való kijövetelök után.
ב וילינו (וַיִּלּוֹנוּ) כָּל-עֲדַת בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל, עַל-מֹשֶׁה וְעַל-אַהֲרֹן--בַּמִּדְבָּר. 2 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron in the wilderness;
2 És zúgolódék Izráel fiainak egész gyülekezete Mózes és Áron ellen a pusztában.
ג וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֲלֵהֶם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, מִי-יִתֵּן מוּתֵנוּ בְיַד-יְהוָה בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם, בְּשִׁבְתֵּנוּ עַל-סִיר הַבָּשָׂר, בְּאָכְלֵנוּ לֶחֶם לָשֹׂבַע: כִּי-הוֹצֵאתֶם אֹתָנוּ אֶל-הַמִּדְבָּר הַזֶּה, לְהָמִית אֶת-כָּל-הַקָּהָל הַזֶּה בָּרָעָב. {ס} 3 and the children of Israel said unto them: 'Would that we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh-pots, when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.' {S}
3 S mondának nékik Izráel fiai: Bár megholtunk volna az Úr keze által Égyiptom földén, a mikor a húsos fazék mellett ülünk vala, a mikor jól lakhatunk vala kenyérrel; mert azért hoztatok ki minket ebbe a pusztába, hogy mind e sokaságot éhséggel öljétek meg.
ד וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, הִנְנִי מַמְטִיר לָכֶם לֶחֶם מִן-הַשָּׁמָיִם; וְיָצָא הָעָם וְלָקְטוּ דְּבַר-יוֹם בְּיוֹמוֹ, לְמַעַן אֲנַסֶּנּוּ הֲיֵלֵךְ בְּתוֹרָתִי אִם-לֹא. 4 Then said the LORD unto Moses: 'Behold, I will cause to rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in My law, or not.
4 És monda az Úr Mózesnek: Ímé én esőképen bocsátok néktek kenyeret az égből; menjen ki azért a nép és szedjen naponként arra a napra valót, hogy megkísértsem: akar-é az én törvényem szerint járni, vagy nem?
ה וְהָיָה בַּיּוֹם הַשִּׁשִּׁי, וְהֵכִינוּ אֵת אֲשֶׁר-יָבִיאוּ; וְהָיָה מִשְׁנֶה, עַל אֲשֶׁר-יִלְקְטוּ יוֹם יוֹם. 5 And it shall come to pass on the sixth day that they shall prepare that which they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.'
5 A hatodik napon pedig úgy lesz, hogy mikor elkészítik a mit bevisznek, az kétannyi lesz, mint a mennyit naponként szedegettek.
ו וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן, אֶל-כָּל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל: עֶרֶב--וִידַעְתֶּם, כִּי יְהוָה הוֹצִיא אֶתְכֶם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם. 6 And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel: 'At even, then ye shall know that the LORD hath brought you out from the land of Egypt;
6 És monda Mózes és Áron Izráel minden fiainak: Estve megtudjátok, hogy az Úr hozott ki titeket Égyiptom földéről;
ז וּבֹקֶר, וּרְאִיתֶם אֶת-כְּבוֹד יְהוָה, בְּשָׁמְעוֹ אֶת-תְּלֻנֹּתֵיכֶם, עַל-יְהוָה; וְנַחְנוּ מָה, כִּי תלונו (תַלִּינוּ) עָלֵינוּ. 7 and in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that He hath heard your murmurings against the LORD; and what are we, that ye murmur against us?'
7 Reggel pedig meglátjátok az Úr dicsőségét; mert meghallotta a ti zúgolódástokat az Úr ellen. De mik vagyunk mi, hogy mi ellenünk zúgolódtok?
ח וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה, בְּתֵת יְהוָה לָכֶם בָּעֶרֶב בָּשָׂר לֶאֱכֹל וְלֶחֶם בַּבֹּקֶר לִשְׂבֹּעַ, בִּשְׁמֹעַ יְהוָה אֶת-תְּלֻנֹּתֵיכֶם, אֲשֶׁר-אַתֶּם מַלִּינִם עָלָיו; וְנַחְנוּ מָה, לֹא-עָלֵינוּ תְלֻנֹּתֵיכֶם כִּי עַל-יְהוָה. 8 And Moses said: 'This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against Him; and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.'
8 És monda Mózes: Estve húst ád az Úr ennetek, reggel pedig kenyeret, hogy jól lakjatok; mert hallotta az Úr a ti zúgolódástokat, melylyel ellene zúgolódtatok. De mik vagyunk mi? Nem mi ellenünk van a ti zúgolódástok, hanem az Úr ellen.
ט וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה, אֶל-אַהֲרֹן, אֱמֹר אֶל-כָּל-עֲדַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, קִרְבוּ לִפְנֵי יְהוָה: כִּי שָׁמַע, אֵת תְּלֻנֹּתֵיכֶם. 9 And Moses said unto Aaron: 'Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel: Come near before the LORD; for He hath heard your murmurings.'
9 Áronnak pedig monda Mózes: Mondd meg az Izráel fiai egész gyülekezetének: Járuljatok az Úr elé mert meghallotta a ti zúgolódástokat.
י וַיְהִי, כְּדַבֵּר אַהֲרֹן אֶל-כָּל-עֲדַת בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל, וַיִּפְנוּ, אֶל-הַמִּדְבָּר; וְהִנֵּה כְּבוֹד יְהוָה, נִרְאָה בֶּעָנָן. {פ} 10 And it came to pass, as Aaron spoke unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud. {P}
10 És lőn, mikor beszéle Áron az Izráel fiai egész gyülekezetének, a puszta felé fordulának, és ímé az Úr dicsősége megjelenék a felhőben.
יא וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר. 11 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
11 És szóla az Úr Mózesnek, mondván:
יב שָׁמַעְתִּי, אֶת-תְּלוּנֹּת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל--דַּבֵּר אֲלֵהֶם לֵאמֹר בֵּין הָעַרְבַּיִם תֹּאכְלוּ בָשָׂר, וּבַבֹּקֶר תִּשְׂבְּעוּ-לָחֶם; וִידַעְתֶּם, כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם. 12 'I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel. Speak unto them, saying: At dusk ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God.'
12 Hallottam az Izráel fiainak zúgolódását, szólj nékik mondván: Estennen húst esztek, reggel pedig kenyérrel laktok jól és megtudjátok, hogy én vagyok az Úr a ti Istentek.
יג וַיְהִי בָעֶרֶב--וַתַּעַל הַשְּׂלָו, וַתְּכַס אֶת-הַמַּחֲנֶה; וּבַבֹּקֶר, הָיְתָה שִׁכְבַת הַטַּל, סָבִיב, לַמַּחֲנֶה. 13 And it came to pass at even, that the quails came up, and covered the camp; and in the morning there was a layer of dew round about the camp.
13 És lőn, hogy estve fürjek jövének fel és ellepék a tábort, reggel pedig harmatszállás lőn a tábor körűl.
יד וַתַּעַל, שִׁכְבַת הַטָּל; וְהִנֵּה עַל-פְּנֵי הַמִּדְבָּר, דַּק מְחֻסְפָּס--דַּק כַּכְּפֹר, עַל-הָאָרֶץ. 14 And when the layer of dew was gone up, behold upon the face of the wilderness a fine, scale-like thing, fine as the hoar-frost on the ground.
14 Mikor pedig a harmatszállás megszűnék, ímé a pusztának színén apró gömbölyegek valának, aprók mint a dara a földön.
טו וַיִּרְאוּ בְנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל, וַיֹּאמְרוּ אִישׁ אֶל-אָחִיו מָן הוּא--כִּי לֹא יָדְעוּ, מַה-הוּא; וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה, אֲלֵהֶם, הוּא הַלֶּחֶם, אֲשֶׁר נָתַן יְהוָה לָכֶם לְאָכְלָה. 15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another: 'What is it?'--for they knew not what it was. And Moses said unto them: 'It is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.
15 A mint megláták az Izráel fiai, mondának egymásnak: Mán ez! mert nem tudják vala mi az. Mózes pedig monda nékik: Ez az a kenyér, melyet az Úr adott néktek eledelül.
טז זֶה הַדָּבָר, אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה, לִקְטוּ מִמֶּנּוּ, אִישׁ לְפִי אָכְלוֹ: עֹמֶר לַגֻּלְגֹּלֶת, מִסְפַּר נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם--אִישׁ לַאֲשֶׁר בְּאָהֳלוֹ, תִּקָּחוּ. 16 This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded: Gather ye of it every man according to his eating; an omer a head, according to the number of your persons, shall ye take it, every man for them that are in his tent.'
16 Az Úr parancsolata pedig ez: Szedjen abból kiki a mennyit megehetik; fejenként egy ómert, a hozzátok tartozók száma szerint szedjen kiki azok részére, a kik az ő sátorában vannak.
יז וַיַּעֲשׂוּ-כֵן, בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל; וַיִּלְקְטוּ, הַמַּרְבֶּה וְהַמַּמְעִיט. 17 And the children of Israel did so, and gathered some more, some less.
17 És aképen cselekedének az Izráel fiai és szedének ki többet, ki kevesebbet.
יח וַיָּמֹדּוּ בָעֹמֶר--וְלֹא הֶעְדִּיף הַמַּרְבֶּה, וְהַמַּמְעִיט לֹא הֶחְסִיר: אִישׁ לְפִי-אָכְלוֹ, לָקָטוּ. 18 And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.
18 Azután megmérik vala ómerrel, és annak a ki többet szedett, nem vala fölöslege, és annak, a ki kevesebbet szedett, nem vala fogyatkozása: kiki annyit szedett, a mennyit megehetik vala.
יט וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה, אֲלֵהֶם: אִישׁ, אַל-יוֹתֵר מִמֶּנּוּ עַד-בֹּקֶר. 19 And Moses said unto them: 'Let no man leave of it till the morning.'
19 Azt is mondá nékik Mózes: Senki ne hagyjon abból reggelre.
כ וְלֹא-שָׁמְעוּ אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, וַיּוֹתִרוּ אֲנָשִׁים מִמֶּנּוּ עַד-בֹּקֶר, וַיָּרֻם תּוֹלָעִים, וַיִּבְאַשׁ; וַיִּקְצֹף עֲלֵהֶם, מֹשֶׁה. 20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and rotted; and Moses was wroth with them.
20 De nem hallgatának Mózesre, mert némelyek hagyának abból reggelre; és megférgesedék s megbüszhödék. Mózes pedig megharagudék reájok.
כא וַיִּלְקְטוּ אֹתוֹ בַּבֹּקֶר בַּבֹּקֶר, אִישׁ כְּפִי אָכְלוֹ; וְחַם הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ, וְנָמָס. 21 And they gathered it morning by morning, every man according to his eating; and as the sun waxed hot, it melted.
21 Szedék pedig azt reggelenként, kiki a mennyit megehetik vala, mert ha a nap felmelegedett, elolvad vala.
כב וַיְהִי בַּיּוֹם הַשִּׁשִּׁי, לָקְטוּ לֶחֶם מִשְׁנֶה--שְׁנֵי הָעֹמֶר, לָאֶחָד; וַיָּבֹאוּ כָּל-נְשִׂיאֵי הָעֵדָה, וַיַּגִּידוּ לְמֹשֶׁה. 22 And it came to pass that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one; and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
22 A hatodik napon pedig két annyi kenyeret szednek vala, két ómerrel egyre-egyre. Eljövének pedig a gyülekezet fejedelmei mindnyájan és tudtára adták azt Mózesnek.
כג וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵהֶם, הוּא אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָה--שַׁבָּתוֹן שַׁבַּת-קֹדֶשׁ לַיהוָה, מָחָר: אֵת אֲשֶׁר-תֹּאפוּ אֵפוּ, וְאֵת אֲשֶׁר-תְּבַשְּׁלוּ בַּשֵּׁלוּ, וְאֵת כָּל-הָעֹדֵף, הַנִּיחוּ לָכֶם לְמִשְׁמֶרֶת עַד-הַבֹּקֶר. 23 And he said unto them: 'This is that which the LORD hath spoken: To-morrow is a solemn rest, a holy sabbath unto the LORD. Bake that which ye will bake, and seethe that which ye will seethe; and all that remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.'
23 Ő pedig monda nékik: Ez az, a mit az Úr mondott: A holnap nyugalom napja, az Úrnak szentelt szombat; a mit sütni akartok, süssétek meg, és a mit főzni akartok, főzzétek meg; a mi pedig megmarad, azt mind tegyétek el magatoknak reggelre.
כד וַיַּנִּיחוּ אֹתוֹ עַד-הַבֹּקֶר, כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה מֹשֶׁה; וְלֹא הִבְאִישׁ, וְרִמָּה לֹא-הָיְתָה בּוֹ. 24 And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade; and it did not rot, neither was there any worm therein.
24 És eltevék azt reggelre, a szerint a mint Mózes parancsolta vala, és nem büszhödék meg s féreg sem vala benne.
כה וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אִכְלֻהוּ הַיּוֹם, כִּי-שַׁבָּת הַיּוֹם לַיהוָה: הַיּוֹם, לֹא תִמְצָאֻהוּ בַּשָּׂדֶה. 25 And Moses said: 'Eat that to-day; for to-day is a sabbath unto the LORD; to-day ye shall not find it in the field.
25 És monda Mózes: Ma egyétek azt meg, mert ma az Úrnak szombatja van; ma nem találjátok azt a mezőn.
כו שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים, תִּלְקְטֻהוּ; וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי שַׁבָּת, לֹא יִהְיֶה-בּוֹ. 26 Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.'
26 Hat napon szedjétek azt, de a hetedik napon szombat van, akkor nem lesz.
כז וַיְהִי בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי, יָצְאוּ מִן-הָעָם לִלְקֹט; וְלֹא, מָצָאוּ. {ס} 27 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that there went out some of the people to gather, and they found none. {S}
27 És lőn hetednapon: kimenének a nép közül, hogy szedjenek, de nem találának.
כח וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה: עַד-אָנָה, מֵאַנְתֶּם, לִשְׁמֹר מִצְו‍ֹתַי, וְתוֹרֹתָי. 28 And the LORD said unto Moses: 'How long refuse ye to keep My commandments and My laws?
28 És monda az Úr Mózesnek: Meddig nem akarjátok megtartani az én parancsolataimat és törvényeimet?
כט רְאוּ, כִּי-יְהוָה נָתַן לָכֶם הַשַּׁבָּת--עַל-כֵּן הוּא נֹתֵן לָכֶם בַּיּוֹם הַשִּׁשִּׁי, לֶחֶם יוֹמָיִם; שְׁבוּ אִישׁ תַּחְתָּיו, אַל-יֵצֵא אִישׁ מִמְּקֹמוֹ--בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי. 29 See that the LORD hath given you the sabbath; therefore He giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.'
29 Lássátok meg! az Úr adta néktek a szombatot; azért ád ő néktek hatodnapon két napra való kenyeret. Maradjatok veszteg, kiki a maga helyén; senki se menjen ki az ő helyéből a hetedik napon.
ל וַיִּשְׁבְּתוּ הָעָם, בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִעִי. 30 So the people rested on the seventh day.
30 És nyugoszik vala a nép a hetedik napon.
לא וַיִּקְרְאוּ בֵית-יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת-שְׁמוֹ, מָן; וְהוּא, כְּזֶרַע גַּד לָבָן, וְטַעְמוֹ, כְּצַפִּיחִת בִּדְבָשׁ. 31 And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna; and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.
31 Az Izráel háza pedig Mánnak nevezé azt; olyan vala az mint a kóriándrom magva, fehér; és íze, mint a mézes pogácsáé.
לב וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה, זֶה הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה--מְלֹא הָעֹמֶר מִמֶּנּוּ, לְמִשְׁמֶרֶת לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם: לְמַעַן יִרְאוּ אֶת-הַלֶּחֶם, אֲשֶׁר הֶאֱכַלְתִּי אֶתְכֶם בַּמִּדְבָּר, בְּהוֹצִיאִי אֶתְכֶם, מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם. 32 And Moses said: 'This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded: Let an omerful of it be kept throughout your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.'
32 És monda Mózes: Ezt parancsolja az Úr: Egy teljes ómernyit tartsatok meg abból maradékaitok számára, hogy lássák a kenyeret, a mellyel éltettelek titeket a pusztában, mikor kihoztalak titeket Égyiptom földéről.
לג וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל-אַהֲרֹן, קַח צִנְצֶנֶת אַחַת, וְתֶן-שָׁמָּה מְלֹא-הָעֹמֶר, מָן; וְהַנַּח אֹתוֹ לִפְנֵי יְהוָה, לְמִשְׁמֶרֶת לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם. 33 And Moses said unto Aaron: 'Take a jar, and put an omerful of manna therein, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept throughout your generations.'
33 Áronnak pedig monda Mózes: Végy egy edényt és tégy bele egy teljes ómer Mánt és tedd azt az Úr eleibe, hogy megtartassék maradékaitok számára.
לד כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה; וַיַּנִּיחֵהוּ אַהֲרֹן לִפְנֵי הָעֵדֻת, לְמִשְׁמָרֶת. 34 As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.
34 A mint parancsolta vala az Úr Mózesnek, eltevé azt Áron a bizonyságtétel ládája elé, hogy megtartassék.
לה וּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, אָכְלוּ אֶת-הַמָּן אַרְבָּעִים שָׁנָה--עַד-בֹּאָם, אֶל-אֶרֶץ נוֹשָׁבֶת: אֶת-הַמָּן, אָכְלוּ--עַד-בֹּאָם, אֶל-קְצֵה אֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן. 35 And the children of Israel did eat the manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat the manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.
35 Az Izráel fiai pedig negyven esztendőn át evék a Mánt, míg lakó földre jutának; Mánt evének mind addig, míg a Kanaán földének határához jutának.
לו וְהָעֹמֶר, עֲשִׂרִית הָאֵיפָה הוּא. {פ} 36 Now an omer is the tenth part of an ephah. {P}
36 Az ómer pedig az éfának tizedrésze.
