9. Fejezet
א וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, בֹּא אֶל-פַּרְעֹה; וְדִבַּרְתָּ אֵלָיו, כֹּה-אָמַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי הָעִבְרִים, שַׁלַּח אֶת-עַמִּי, וְיַעַבְדֻנִי.	1 Then the LORD said unto Moses: 'Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him: Thus saith the LORD, the God of the Hebrews: Let My people go, that they may serve Me. 1 És monda az Úr Mózesnek: Menj a Faraóhoz és beszélj vele: Ezt mondja az Úr, a héberek Istene: Bocsásd el az én népemet, hogy szolgáljanak nékem:
ב כִּי אִם-מָאֵן אַתָּה, לְשַׁלֵּחַ, וְעוֹדְךָ, מַחֲזִיק בָּם.	2 For if thou refuse to let them go, and wilt hold them still, 2 Mert ha nem akarod elbocsátani és tovább is tartóztatod őket:
ג הִנֵּה יַד-יְהוָה הוֹיָה, בְּמִקְנְךָ אֲשֶׁר בַּשָּׂדֶה, בַּסּוּסִים בַּחֲמֹרִים בַּגְּמַלִּים, בַּבָּקָר וּבַצֹּאן--דֶּבֶר, כָּבֵד מְאֹד.	3 behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which are in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the herds, and upon the flocks; there shall be a very grievous murrain. 3 Ímé az Úr keze lészen a te mezei barmaidon, lovakon, szamarakon, tevéken, ökrökön és juhokon; igen nagy döghalál.
ד וְהִפְלָה יְהוָה--בֵּין מִקְנֵה יִשְׂרָאֵל, וּבֵין מִקְנֵה מִצְרָיִם; וְלֹא יָמוּת מִכָּל-לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, דָּבָר.	4 And the LORD shall make a division between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt; and there shall nothing die of all that belongeth to the children of Israel.' 4 De különbséget tesz az Úr az Izráel barmai között és Égyiptom barmai között, és mindabból, a mi Izráel fiaié, egy sem vész el.
ה וַיָּשֶׂם יְהוָה, מוֹעֵד לֵאמֹר: מָחָר, יַעֲשֶׂה יְהוָה הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה--בָּאָרֶץ.	5 And the LORD appointed a set time, saying: 'Tomorrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.' 5 Időt is hagya az Úr, mondván: Holnap cselekszi az Úr ezt a dolgot a földön.
ו וַיַּעַשׂ יְהוָה אֶת-הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה, מִמָּחֳרָת, וַיָּמָת, כֹּל מִקְנֵה מִצְרָיִם; וּמִמִּקְנֵה בְנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל, לֹא-מֵת אֶחָד.	6 And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died; but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one. 6 Meg is cselekedé az Úr ezt a dolgot másodnapon, és elhulla Égyiptomnak minden barma, de az Izráel fiainak barma közül egy sem hullott el.
ז וַיִּשְׁלַח פַּרְעֹה--וְהִנֵּה לֹא-מֵת מִמִּקְנֵה יִשְׂרָאֵל, עַד-אֶחָד; וַיִּכְבַּד לֵב פַּרְעֹה, וְלֹא שִׁלַּח אֶת-הָעָם. {פ}	7 And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not so much as one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. But the heart of Pharaoh was stubborn, and he did not let the people go. {P} 7 El is külde a Faraó, és ímé egy sem hullt vala el az Izráeliták barma közül: de a Faraó szíve kemény maradt, és nem bocsátá el a népet.
ח וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה וְאֶל-אַהֲרֹן, קְחוּ לָכֶם מְלֹא חָפְנֵיכֶם, פִּיחַ כִּבְשָׁן; וּזְרָקוֹ מֹשֶׁה הַשָּׁמַיְמָה, לְעֵינֵי פַרְעֹה.	8 And the LORD said unto Moses and unto Aaron: 'Take to you handfuls of soot of the furnace, and let Moses throw it heavenward in the sight of Pharaoh. 8 Az Úr pedig monda Mózesnek és Áronnak: Vegyétek tele markaitokat kemenczehamuval, és szórja azt Mózes az ég felé a Faraó szeme láttára.
ט וְהָיָה לְאָבָק, עַל כָּל-אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם; וְהָיָה עַל-הָאָדָם וְעַל-הַבְּהֵמָה, לִשְׁחִין פֹּרֵחַ אֲבַעְבֻּעֹת--בְּכָל-אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם.	9 And it shall become small dust over all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains upon man and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.' 9 Hogy porrá legyen Égyiptomnak egész földén, s emberen és barmon hólyagosan fakadó fekéllyé legyen Égyiptomnak egész földén.
י וַיִּקְחוּ אֶת-פִּיחַ הַכִּבְשָׁן, וַיַּעַמְדוּ לִפְנֵי פַרְעֹה, וַיִּזְרֹק אֹתוֹ מֹשֶׁה, הַשָּׁמָיְמָה; וַיְהִי, שְׁחִין אֲבַעְבֻּעֹת, פֹּרֵחַ, בָּאָדָם וּבַבְּהֵמָה.	10 And they took soot of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses threw it up heavenward; and it became a boil breaking forth with blains upon man and upon beast. 10 Vevének azért kemenczehamut és a Faraó elé állának, és Mózes az ég felé szórá azt; és lőn az emberen és barmon hólyagosan fakadó fekély.
יא וְלֹא-יָכְלוּ הַחַרְטֻמִּים, לַעֲמֹד לִפְנֵי מֹשֶׁה--מִפְּנֵי הַשְּׁחִין: כִּי-הָיָה הַשְּׁחִין, בַּחַרְטֻמִּם וּבְכָל-מִצְרָיִם.	11 And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boils were upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians. 11 És az írástudók nem állhatnak vala Mózes előtt a fekély miatt; mert fekély vala az írástudókon s mind az Égyiptombelieken.
יב וַיְחַזֵּק יְהוָה אֶת-לֵב פַּרְעֹה, וְלֹא שָׁמַע אֲלֵהֶם: כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה. {ס}	12 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had spoken unto Moses. {S} 12 De az Úr megkeményíté a Faraó szívét, és nem hallgata reájok, a mint megmondotta vala az Úr Mózesnek.
יג וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, הַשְׁכֵּם בַּבֹּקֶר, וְהִתְיַצֵּב לִפְנֵי פַרְעֹה; וְאָמַרְתָּ אֵלָיו, כֹּה-אָמַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי הָעִבְרִים, שַׁלַּח אֶת-עַמִּי, וְיַעַבְדֻנִי.	13 And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him: Thus saith the LORD, the God of the Hebrews: Let My people go, that they may serve Me. 13 És monda az Úr Mózesnek: Kelj fel reggel és állj a Faraó eleibe és mondd néki: Ezt mondja az Úr, a héberek Istene: Bocsásd el az én népemet, hogy szolgáljanak nékem.
יד כִּי בַּפַּעַם הַזֹּאת, אֲנִי שֹׁלֵחַ אֶת-כָּל-מַגֵּפֹתַי אֶל-לִבְּךָ, וּבַעֲבָדֶיךָ, וּבְעַמֶּךָ--בַּעֲבוּר תֵּדַע, כִּי אֵין כָּמֹנִי בְּכָל-הָאָרֶץ.	14 For I will this time send all My plagues upon thy person, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like Me in all the earth. 14 Mert ezúttal minden csapásomat reá bocsátom a te szívedre, a te szolgáidra és a te népedre azért, hogy megtudd, hogy nincs én hozzám hasonló az egész földön.
טו כִּי עַתָּה שָׁלַחְתִּי אֶת-יָדִי, וָאַךְ אוֹתְךָ וְאֶת-עַמְּךָ בַּדָּבֶר; וַתִּכָּחֵד, מִן-הָאָרֶץ.	15 Surely now I had put forth My hand, and smitten thee and thy people with pestilence, and thou hadst been cut off from the earth. 15 Mert ha most kinyujtanám kezemet és megvernélek téged és a te népedet döghalállal, akkor kivágattatnál a földről.
טז וְאוּלָם, בַּעֲבוּר זֹאת הֶעֱמַדְתִּיךָ, בַּעֲבוּר, הַרְאֹתְךָ אֶת-כֹּחִי; וּלְמַעַן סַפֵּר שְׁמִי, בְּכָל-הָאָרֶץ.	16 But in very deed for this cause have I made thee to stand, to show thee My power, and that My name may be declared throughout all the earth. 16 Ámde azért tartottalak fenn tégedet, hogy megmutassam néked az én hatalmamat, és hogy hirdessék az én nevemet az egész földön.
יז עוֹדְךָ, מִסְתּוֹלֵל בְּעַמִּי, לְבִלְתִּי, שַׁלְּחָם.	17 As yet exaltest thou thyself against My people, that thou wilt not let them go? 17 Ha tovább is feltartóztatod az én népemet és nem bocsátod el őket:
יח הִנְנִי מַמְטִיר כָּעֵת מָחָר, בָּרָד כָּבֵד מְאֹד, אֲשֶׁר לֹא-הָיָה כָמֹהוּ בְּמִצְרַיִם, לְמִן-הַיּוֹם הִוָּסְדָה וְעַד-עָתָּה.	18 Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the day it was founded even until now. 18 Ímé holnap ilyenkor igen nagy jégesőt bocsátok, a melyhez hasonló nem volt Égyiptomban az napságtól fogva hogy fundáltatott, mind ez ideig.
יט וְעַתָּה, שְׁלַח הָעֵז אֶת-מִקְנְךָ, וְאֵת כָּל-אֲשֶׁר לְךָ, בַּשָּׂדֶה: כָּל-הָאָדָם וְהַבְּהֵמָה אֲשֶׁר-יִמָּצֵא בַשָּׂדֶה, וְלֹא יֵאָסֵף הַבַּיְתָה--וְיָרַד עֲלֵהֶם הַבָּרָד, וָמֵתוּ.	19 Now therefore send, hasten in thy cattle and all that thou hast in the field; for every man and beast that shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.' 19 Most annakokáért küldj el, hajtasd be barmaidat és mindenedet, valamid a mezőn van; minden ember és barom, a mely a mezőn találtatik és házba nem hajtatik, - jégeső szakad arra, és meghal.
כ הַיָּרֵא אֶת-דְּבַר יְהוָה, מֵעַבְדֵי פַּרְעֹה--הֵנִיס אֶת-עֲבָדָיו וְאֶת-מִקְנֵהוּ, אֶל-הַבָּתִּים.	20 He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses; 20 A ki a Faraó szolgái közűl az Úr beszédétől megfélemedék, szolgáit és barmait házakba futtatá.
כא וַאֲשֶׁר לֹא-שָׂם לִבּוֹ, אֶל-דְּבַר יְהוָה--וַיַּעֲזֹב אֶת-עֲבָדָיו וְאֶת-מִקְנֵהוּ, בַּשָּׂדֶה. {פ}	21 and he that regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the field. {P} 21 A ki pedig nem törődék az Úr beszédével, szolgáit és barmát a mezőn hagyá.
כב וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, נְטֵה אֶת-יָדְךָ עַל-הַשָּׁמַיִם, וִיהִי בָרָד, בְּכָל-אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם: עַל-הָאָדָם וְעַל-הַבְּהֵמָה, וְעַל כָּל-עֵשֶׂב הַשָּׂדֶה--בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם.	22 And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Stretch forth thy hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.' 22 Az Úr pedig monda Mózesnek: Nyújtsd ki kezedet az égre, hogy legyen jégeső Égyiptom egész földén az emberre, baromra és a mező minden fűvére, Égyiptom földén.
כג וַיֵּט מֹשֶׁה אֶת-מַטֵּהוּ, עַל-הַשָּׁמַיִם, וַיהוָה נָתַן קֹלֹת וּבָרָד, וַתִּהֲלַךְ אֵשׁ אָרְצָה; וַיַּמְטֵר יְהוָה בָּרָד, עַל-אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם.	23 And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven; and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and fire ran down unto the earth; and the LORD caused to hail upon the land of Egypt. 23 Kinyujtá azért Mózes az ő vesszejét az égre, az Úr pedig mennydörgést támaszta és jégesőt, és tűz szálla le a földre, és jégesőt bocsáta az Úr Égyiptom földére.
כד וַיְהִי בָרָד--וְאֵשׁ, מִתְלַקַּחַת בְּתוֹךְ הַבָּרָד: כָּבֵד מְאֹד--אֲשֶׁר לֹא-הָיָה כָמֹהוּ בְּכָל-אֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם, מֵאָז הָיְתָה לְגוֹי.	24 So there was hail, and fire flashing up amidst the hail, very grievous, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. 24 És lőn jégeső, és a tűz egymást éré az igen nagy jégeső közt, a melyhez hasonló nem volt az egész Égyiptom földén, mióta nép lakja.
כה וַיַּךְ הַבָּרָד בְּכָל-אֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם, אֵת כָּל-אֲשֶׁר בַּשָּׂדֶה, מֵאָדָם, וְעַד-בְּהֵמָה; וְאֵת כָּל-עֵשֶׂב הַשָּׂדֶה הִכָּה הַבָּרָד, וְאֶת-כָּל-עֵץ הַשָּׂדֶה שִׁבֵּר.	25 And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and broke every tree of the field. 25 És elveré a jégeső egész Égyiptom földén mindazt, a mi a mezőn vala, embertől baromig; a mező minden fűvét is elveré a jégeső és a mező minden fáját is egybe rontá.
כו רַק בְּאֶרֶץ גֹּשֶׁן, אֲשֶׁר-שָׁם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל--לֹא הָיָה, בָּרָד.	26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail. 26 Csak a Gósen földén, hol Izráel fiai valának, nem volt jégeső.
כז וַיִּשְׁלַח פַּרְעֹה, וַיִּקְרָא לְמֹשֶׁה וּלְאַהֲרֹן, וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵהֶם, חָטָאתִי הַפָּעַם: יְהוָה, הַצַּדִּיק, וַאֲנִי וְעַמִּי, הָרְשָׁעִים.	27 And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them: 'I have sinned this time; the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked. 27 A Faraó pedig elkülde és hívatá Mózest és Áront, és monda nékik: Vétkeztem ezúttal; az Úr az igaz; én pedig és az én népem gonoszok vagyunk.
כח הַעְתִּירוּ, אֶל-יְהוָה, וְרַב, מִהְיֹת קֹלֹת אֱלֹהִים וּבָרָד; וַאֲשַׁלְּחָה אֶתְכֶם, וְלֹא תֹסִפוּן לַעֲמֹד.	28 Entreat the LORD, and let there be enough of these mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer.' 28 Imádkozzatok az Úrhoz, hogy legyen elég a mennydörgés és jégeső, és akkor elbocsátlak titeket és nem maradtok tovább.
כט וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו, מֹשֶׁה, כְּצֵאתִי אֶת-הָעִיר, אֶפְרֹשׂ אֶת-כַּפַּי אֶל-יְהוָה; הַקֹּלוֹת יֶחְדָּלוּן, וְהַבָּרָד לֹא יִהְיֶה-עוֹד, לְמַעַן תֵּדַע, כִּי לַיהוָה הָאָרֶץ.	29 And Moses said unto him: 'As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread forth my hands unto the LORD; the thunders shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know that the earth is the LORD'S. 29 Mózes pedig monda néki: Mihelyt kimegyek a városból, felemelem kezeimet az Úrhoz; megszűnnek a mennydörgések és nem lesz többé jégeső, hogy megtudd, hogy az Úré a föld.
ל וְאַתָּה, וַעֲבָדֶיךָ: יָדַעְתִּי--כִּי טֶרֶם תִּירְאוּן, מִפְּנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים.	30 But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye will not yet fear the LORD God.'-- 30 De tudom, hogy te és a te szolgáid még nem féltek az Úr Istentől.
לא וְהַפִּשְׁתָּה וְהַשְּׂעֹרָה, נֻכָּתָה: כִּי הַשְּׂעֹרָה אָבִיב, וְהַפִּשְׁתָּה גִּבְעֹל.	31 And the flax and the barley were smitten; for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was in bloom. 31 A len pedig és az árpa elvereték, mert az árpa kalászos, a len pedig bimbós vala.
לב וְהַחִטָּה וְהַכֻּסֶּמֶת, לֹא נֻכּוּ: כִּי אֲפִילֹת, הֵנָּה.	32 But the wheat and the spelt were not smitten; for they ripen late.-- 32 De a búza és a tönköly nem vereték el, mert azok késeiek.
לג וַיֵּצֵא מֹשֶׁה מֵעִם פַּרְעֹה, אֶת-הָעִיר, וַיִּפְרֹשׂ כַּפָּיו, אֶל-יְהוָה; וַיַּחְדְּלוּ הַקֹּלוֹת וְהַבָּרָד, וּמָטָר לֹא-נִתַּךְ אָרְצָה.	33 And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread forth his hands unto the LORD; and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth. 33 És kiméne Mózes a Faraótól a városból és felemelé kezeit az Úrhoz, és megszűnének a mennydörgések s a jégeső és eső sem ömlik vala a földre.
לד וַיַּרְא פַּרְעֹה, כִּי-חָדַל הַמָּטָר וְהַבָּרָד וְהַקֹּלֹת--וַיֹּסֶף לַחֲטֹא; וַיַּכְבֵּד לִבּוֹ, הוּא וַעֲבָדָיו.	34 And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants. 34 Amint látá a Faraó, hogy megszűnék az eső, meg a jégeső és a mennydörgés, ismét vétkezék és megkeményíté szívét ő és az ő szolgái.
לה וַיֶּחֱזַק לֵב פַּרְעֹה, וְלֹא שִׁלַּח אֶת-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל: כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָה, בְּיַד-מֹשֶׁה. {פ}	35 And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the children of Israel go; as the LORD had spoken by Moses. {P} 35 És kemény maradt a Faraó szíve, és nem bocsátá el az Izráel fiait, a mint megmondotta vala az Úr Mózes által.
